MORNING SHIFT: TUESDAY - SATURDAY: 04.00 STARTS
LATE SHIFT: MONDAY - FRIDAY 12.00 STARTS
£14.11 - £15.08 PER HOUR
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in the Motherwell area.

Day to Day Duties
Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to:
- Delivering into other depots or larger distribution centres (approximately 8-10 stops)
- Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
- Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed
Essential Skills
As a Class 2 Driver you will need to:
- Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
- We can accept new passes!
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
- Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
- Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
- Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
- Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
- Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience
- Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
- Previous experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial
Training
- Driver's Assessment will have to be completed
- After successful Assessment, there will be a one day paid induction
