The Recruitment Crowd is seeking multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) for a well-known client in the Motherwell area.
Candidates must have a full UK driving license with Class 2 entitlement and a valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
The pay rate is £13.52 per hour for day shifts and £14.43 per hour for night shifts, with ongoing work and potential for permanent positions.
Drivers will be responsible for securely transporting palletised parcels, handling delivery runs, and maintaining accurate paperwork.
Weekend work is required, and applicants should have a safety-first mindset and excellent communication skills.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Motherwell area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Hours: Days/afters or nights, shifts across Monday to Sunday (weekends included and driver MUST be able to accommodate weekend work)

Pay Rate: Days - £13.52 per hour / Nights - £14.43 per hour (PAYE)

Location: Motherwell, ML1

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate

The role:

· Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.

· Handling runs with 4-5 delivery stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.

· Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle.

· Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

· Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).

· Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

· No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

· Full understanding of WTD legislation.

· Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.

· Excellent communication skills.

· A safety-first mindset.
