Salary/Benefits: 25k - 40k + Training & Benefits
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, who is a UKAS accredited Asbestos firm. They have a strong presence across the Central Belt of Scotland and are seeking a candidate who can travel to client sites easily. You will be joining an independently owned outfit who can offer great further training to hardworking applicants. Salaries on offer are competitive and benefits include: pension, overtime opportunities and a company vehicle.
You will be travelling across: Motherwell, Larkhall, East Kilbride, Airdrie, Cumbernauld, Falkirk, Stirling, Dunblane, Bathgate, Lanark, Kilmarnock, Glasgow, Paisley, Clydebank, Dumbarton, Linlithgow, Bo'ness, Livingston, Broxburn, Queensferry, Edinburgh, Dalkeith, Peebles, Kirkaldy, Glenrothes.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Will have proven experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor for a well-established outfit
- Qualified with the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
- Well-versed in HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- IT literate
- Hardworking attitude
The Role:
- Conducting bespoke Management, Refurbishment and Demolition asbestos surveys
- Collecting ACM samples from site
- Writing detailed survey reports, indicating areas of concern and recommendations
- Meeting clients on site and discussing findings
- Working across a range of local authority, commercial and domestic client sites
- Travelling as per company requirements
- Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
