Commercial Director/Head of Commercial - Manufacturing
The Client:
A global market-leading manufacturer with their head office in Scotland which houses around 1000 local employees. They have over 100 years of manufacturing pedigree with a commitment to R&D, net zero emissions, innovation and staff development. This is a senior management role with an impressively branded firm which has been voted a great place to work.
The Role:
You will be joining this organisation at an extremely exciting time. You will have full responsibility for group commercial activities across a variety of leading brands. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will initially have a relatively small team to develop which will be added to at your discretion. You will be expected to review overall commercial activities and implement processes and procedures to improve overall efficiencies across commercial/sales activities.
Contracts can be valued from £10 200m so its important that you are comfortable at this level of total contract value. You will collaborate across various departments including sales, operations, innovation and sustainability, playing a major role in the overall profitability of the business.
The Person:
Its likely that you are a senior Commercial leader with, ideally, UK manufacturing experience although applications will be accepted from other verticals. You should have well developed financial acumen, proven leadership ability and experience of building high performing teams. Experience of global/export markets will be an added advantage.
The Rewards:
A basic salary of £80 90,000 is on offer with a full benefits package.
