Our client, a distinguished company within the Transmission and Distribution (T & D) sector, is currently seeking a Substations Training Lead to join their team. This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key part in the development and delivery of training programmes focusing on substations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing effective training programmes related to substations
  • Ensuring the training materials are up-to-date and in line with industry standards
  • Assessing the training needs and developing strategies to meet those requirements
  • Delivering high-quality training sessions to various stakeholders
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of training programmes
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts to enhance training content
  • Maintaining records of training activities and conducting follow-up assessments
  • Adhering to safety and compliance regulations during training delivery
Job Requirements:
  • Significant experience maintaining substation equipment and applying relevant safety precautions
  • A keen interest in training others
  • Level 3 Engineering qualification
  • Knowledge of National Grid Safety Rules and NSI's.
  • Previous training or coaching experience would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively
  • UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
