Our client is seeking a Building Services Engineer to join their team based in Motherwell. As the new Building Services Engineer, you will play a critical role within the organization, responsible for ensuring that all aspects of M&E systems are running efficiently.Qualifications:To be considered for this role, you must possess an Electrical OR Mechanical Qualification, ideally 17th/18th Edition and PAT certification.Skills:The ideal candidate will have excellent skills in HVAC and water system maintenance, as well as proficiency in emergency lighting installations.

You should also have experience managing facilities maintenance operations while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. It would be beneficial if you have experience in BMS control systems, fire alarm systems, and CCTV systems.Responsibilities:In this permanent position, some of your key responsibilities include maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure that they run efficiently, conducting routine inspections on HVAC units and refrigeration systems, and ensuring efficient operation of hot and cold-water storage tanks and pumps.

You will be responsible for managing emergency light installation and testing schedules across different sites and facilities according to legal requirements and regulations.
