Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who is looking to add an Test and Inspection Electrician to their team on a permanent basis. You’ll be required to cover customer sites the Lanarkshire area.
This position also comes with a company vehicle (private use too), fuel card, testing equipment with laptop/PDA, uniform, bonus incentives, and on call rate.
Hours: 40 per week with weekend and overtime available
Salary: £39.4K with earning potential of £50K
Daily Duties –
- Carry out Inspection and Testing on customer electrical installations (EICR’s) including Emergency Lighting Testing, Fire Alarm Inspections, Mains Analysis, Thermal Imaging, and small remedial repairs as required.
- Complete all relevant inspection and testing reports via certification software
- Ensure all reports and certification are completed and summited on time.
- Carrying out LED lighting replacements in and out of hours and in line with the project schedule
Candidate Requirements –
- 18th Edition qualification
- City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395
- AM2 or equivalent (preferred)
- Full UK Driving Licence
