This role is for a Manufacturing Engineer who will oversee the design and implementation of manufacturing processes, strategies, and systems within the precision manufacturing sector. The position is focused on process improvements, operational excellence and cost reductions.

Description

  • Design and implement new manufacturing processes and systems for improved efficiency and cost reductions.
  • Analyse current manufacturing processes and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement operational excellence strategies.
  • Oversee the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to team members as needed.
  • Drive process improvements and cost reductions in the manufacturing process.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement preventative measures.
  • Participate in the creation and maintenance of manufacturing documentation.

Profile

A successful Manufacturing Engineer should have:

  • Time served with 4+ years offline CNC programming of multi discipline engineering including turning, milling, utilising Edgecam software will be beneficial
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
