Our Client has a requirement for a Assistant Cost Administrator, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Motherwell.

 

Role Purpose:

 


To assist with input of weekly blue collar timesheets on Kronos and various administrative tasks around weekly payroll. Processing of Goods Received Notes and Validation of invoices on Oracle R12. Any other ad-hoc administrative tasks

 

Job Role Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll transactions for blue collar workers
  • Process plant transactions, catalogue call offs, material receipts/GRN processing, invoice query resolution
  • Ensure that all transactions are posted in a timely manner
  • Assist with resolution of payroll queries
  • Ensure that site support processes are consistently and rigorously applied across all projects in line with company policies.
  • Live the Balfour Beatty Values
  • Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm



Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

  • The individual should have experience of performing a site admin role working across multiple sites in a construction or rail environment.
  • This is a position of responsibility involving payroll processing, receipting and invoice processing
  • A working knowledge of Oracle (or equivalent ERP cost management module) and Kronos time recording system is desirable.
  • An understanding of construction and rail working rule agreements is also desirable.
