This role will involve sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining efficient inventory levels for the business. This will be an essential role within the business and would suit those who enjoy manging a heavy workload. This will be a full time and permanent role, hours of work are Monday to Thursday 07.30am-4.15pm and Friday 07.30am-11.30am.   • Ensure continuous supply of material on time to delivery.
  • Be the point of contact for day-to-day issues.
  • Ensure communication and escalations are made at all levels of the process.
  • Co-ordinate and manage all PO’s requests.
  • Co-ordinate and manage the order book.
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages and overstock.
  • Ensure all purchased goods meet the quality and compliance standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions.
Role Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a buyer role.
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbally.
  • Self-motivated and capable of meeting deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft packages.
