A great opportunity has opened up for a Buyer working with a large Civil Engineering Contractor on a large range of ASTI onshore projects in Scotland.

This is an exciting time to join the company with years of secure work ahead of them.

Duties Include:

• Fulfilling requisitions on behalf of the business
• Main POC for the civils team working on ASTI onshore projects, to provide support, resolve queries and offer advice when required
• Management of sub-contract procurement process from initial engagement to sub-contract award
• Ensuring internal spend compliance
• Sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations
• Conducting tender processes for both material and sub-contracts
• Supplier meetings and engagement
• Creation of Supply Chain Strategies
• Management of Procurement Schedules

Requirements:

• Experience of civils or construction industry
• Highly results-orientated (proven track record of exceeding targets)
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of procurement ERP and e-tendering systems (e.g. Oracle, Jaggaer or
  similar)
• Knowledge of the Subcontract Procurement Process
• Supply Chain Management Experience
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
