- Ensure continuous supply of material on time to delivery.
- Be the point of contact for day-to-day issues.
- Ensure communication and escalations are made at all levels of the process.
- Co-ordinate and manage all PO’s requests.
- Co-ordinate and manage the order book.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
- Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages and overstock.
- Ensure all purchased goods meet the quality and compliance standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Previous experience in a buyer role.
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Strong communication skills both written and verbally.
- Self-motivated and capable of meeting deadlines.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft packages.
