Your new company
Our client is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The hours of work are 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8am - 4.30pm (and there is flexibility with start and finish times). The offices are based in North Lanarkshire and once successful completion of probation, hybrid working can be offered (circa 3 days in office and 2 days from home). The offices can be accessed by local public transport and there is also on-site parking.
Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller and working as part of a team of 2, you will undertake a range of responsibilities. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to; processing supplier invoices, reconciliations, raising sales orders, posting general ledger journals, collating information for payroll, supporting month-end and year-end and general associated tasks. The IT system used is SAP.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you will have experience of high volume accounts payable processing & experience of the above duties. You will be a team player with excellent attention to detail. You will be eager to learn in areas in which you are less experienced. It is an advantage, but not essential, if you have had exposure to working with SAP.
