Job Advert: Tractor Operator - Quarry (Temp to Perm)
Location: Central Belt
Salary: Competitive, to be discussed (based on experience)
Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Friday: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Overtime: Time and a half after 45 hours, double time on Sundays
Are you an experienced tractor operator looking for your next challenge? We are recruiting for a full-time Tractor Operator for a busy quarry based in Central Belt. This position is initially offered as a temporary role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating the tractor on site for various duties.
Refilling AdBlue and diesel.
Carrying out general maintenance
Ensuring the machinery is kept in good working order and all safety protocols are followed.
What We're Looking For:
CPCS or NPOS Tractor Licence
Proven experience operating tractors or similar heavy machinery.
Good knowledge of general maintenance and upkeep of machinery.
A proactive, reliable, and hardworking attitude.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
Flexible approach to overtime and weekend duties.
