The role – Traffic Planner

Based from the Newhouse site, you will have a key role in ensuring the effective Traffic Planning for UK wide fleet operations and ensuring fleet / traffic planning meets daily operational, company and client requirements.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

  • Oversee day to day fleet planning
  • Ensuring all fleet planning is undertaken to maximise fleet travel and usage
  • Prioritising workload and plan routes
  • Daily driver brief and de-brief
  • Track tachographs to maintain safety and regulatory standards
  • Liaising with sub-contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to streamline operations

You will have a wealth of experience managing fleet planning and ideally for a UK wide client base and be well versed in ensuring fleet planning meets company, client and regulatory / industry requirements. Possessing excellent communication skills, you will be well versed in effectively reacting to operational change requirements in a professional and composed manner. A working knowledge of Road Runner or a similar route planning software would be a distinct advantage.

The hours of work will follow a rotating schedule from Monday to Friday, alternating weekly between 05:30am -14:30pm and 09:30am -18.30pm with flexibility as business demands require.
