Join our team as a Warehouse Operative and contribute to the efficient operations of our logistics activities. We are looking for an experienced individual who demonstrates a strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load goods onto trailers using proper techniques to prevent damage and maximize space utilization. Unload incoming deliveries from suppliers or other warehouses, ensuring items are checked and sorted appropriately.
  • Warehouse Management System (WMS) Updates: Efficiently update the WMS to reflect real-time stock levels and movements, including logging product returns, stock adjustments, and new stock entries.
  • Collaboration and Independence: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily goals and ensure timely completion of tasks. Independently meet deadlines, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and ready for shipment.
  • Maintenance and Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all warehouse safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Additional Duties: Assist in various warehouse duties as required, including organizing shelves, labelling products, and supporting inventory audits.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Warehouse Operative or in a similar role.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • High accuracy in picking and packing orders with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other inventory tracking tools.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Experience with stock counting, order picking, and maintaining inventory is highly preferred.
  • Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse machinery is advantageous.
