Join our team as a General Operative, responsible for ensuring the fulfilment of customer orders with exceptional quality standards. This position offers potential for career growth and requires attention to detail, teamwork, patience, adaptability, and basic computer skills.
The Position
- Ability to quickly assess product as it passes over the line and remove any that do not meet the requested standard
- Ensure that cleaning is carried out between, during and after production runs
- If requested, setting up the grading line may be necessary…this may involve operating the machinery (i.e. installing screens and topper beds)
- Ability to use barcode scanner to scan product into and out of lines (as and when required)
- Report any issues with machinery, product quality or packing to your Line Leader or Supervisor in a timely fashion
- Possibility of relief forklift driving (as and when required) training for the right candidate can be given
- Undertake any other duties as requested by your manager to meet the needs of the business
