Sheltered Housing Manager - RCT - 3 months - 15.51 per hour- Immediate Start

Yolk Recruitment Public Sector & Not-for-Profit team has partnered with a Housing Association who require a Sheltered Housing Manager, this role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of Sheltered Housing and providing support to tenants and provides a vital and difference making function.

What the Sheltered Housing Manager will will be doing
The ideal Sheltered Housing Manager will will be responsible for

* Establishing good relationships with the tenants and ensuring their well being through periodic checks

* Supervise the cleaning of communal areas and grounds maintenance, reporting any issues to the Supported Housing Officer.

* Introduce new tenants to their home, make them aware of the facilities that are available to them at the scheme. Complete and sign the Tenancy Agreement and any documentation as required.

* Provide the tenants with excellent customer service and assist with the delivery of all aspects of housing management.

What the successful Sheltered Housing Manager will bring to the team
This role is suitable for someone who has

  • A friendly and empathetic manner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good knowledge of Housing Management to include Tenancy management, Neighbour Nuisance, Anti - Social Behaviour and Estate Management,, Voids and Allocations.
  • Good knowledge of welfare reform, housing benefit, universal credit, and income recovery processes
