We are pleased to be recruiting a Program Manager for our client in the Mountain Ash area.

Requirements of the role

  • Meeting with the relevant members of the leadership team and customers to identify project requirements, delivery timelines and costs.
  • Developing detailed project plans, identifying key milestones in accordance with the gated process to guide customers, staff members and project teams. Ensuring timely communication of any revisions based on changing needs and requirements.
  • Creating effective communications strategies and quality plans sufficient to the size and complexity of the project.
  • Managing the project through the gated process from concept to manufacturing and leading the phase gate exit review meetings with the leadership team.
  • Working with the relevant department managers to secure the required resource commitment in line with the project deliverables.
  • Identifying and assigning project tasks based on the resource availability, skill sets, experience and strengths of team members.
  • Monitoring project performance indicators whilst identifying and recording risks, mitigating where possible and communicating impact potential.
  • Chairing regular project team meetings, capturing key information / activities and reporting on outcomes.
  • Compiling and submitting project status reports to customers, management and other stakeholders
  • Demonstrating excellent leadership, customer relations and communication skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders

Requirements


  • Minimum 2 years of working as a project manager within a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
  • HNC / Degree in relevant discipline or Project Management Qualification
  • Computer literate including the analysis of data in spreadsheets and the generation of reports and presentations and the effective use of Project Management software
  • Excellent communication skills for interactions at all levels of the business.
  • Leadership skills, the ability to inspire and motivate the team towards achieving a common goal.

  • Salary

    £40,000 to £55,000 per year DOE.
