Contract Scotland is working on an immediate requirement for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to perform an 8-week contract, supporting the purchasing team with an increased workload.

The main function of this role is to assist in all areas of the daily Purchase Ledger function.

Responsibilities include:

  • Processing new supply purchases
  • Reviewing invoices to ensure that they're accurate and correctly formatted
  • Creating credit accounts with new suppliers to finance payments
  • Match purchase invoices to purchase orders in an accurate and timely manner following the internal processes
  • General filing
