- Drive HGV Class 2 vehicles (Refuse trucks or Skip vehicles) to complete scheduled routes safely and efficiently.
- Carry out vehicle checks before and after each shift to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Interact professionally with clients and the public, providing excellent customer service.
- Work within health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with loading and unloading of skips or refuse as required, following the company’s procedures.
- Ensure the timely completion of all routes and paperwork.
- Valid HGV Class 2 (C) driving license.
- CPC qualification (Certificate of Professional Competence).
- No prior experience with refuse trucks or skip vehicles is necessary, but you must be happy to work in this environment.
- Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- Good time management and the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to start work at 6:15 AM.
- Reliable and hardworking with a positive attitude.
- Competitive pay of £13.50 per hour, rising to £20.25 per hour after 40 hours.
