Musselburgh

A highly sought-after opportunity to work with a rapidly growing bespoke house builder based just outside of Musselburgh, who specialises in home improvement services including extensions & renovation. Experience in this sector is preferred.

A minimum of a blue CSCS is required and candidates without this will not be considered.

The Duties

  • Fabricate and assemble wooden structures according to specifications.
  • Measure, cut, and shape wood using power tools and hand tools.
  • Install windows, doors, and other fixtures.
  • Plumb and level structures to ensure proper alignment.
  • Install roofing materials and perform basic masonry work.
  • Apply paint or other finishes to surfaces as needed.

The Requirements

  • Blue CSCS.
  • Proficient in using power tools and hand tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of different types of wood and their properties.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements.
  • Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labour.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
