Location: Edinburgh, Midlothian & East Lothian (35 hour week + Over time and Bonus)

Our client is a family-owned catering business, known for their welcoming atmosphere and quality food across multiple venues in Edinburgh, Midlothian, and East Lothian. They are now looking for an experienced cafe/team leader to join their already formed team and help lead the way in delivering outstanding experiences for their customers.

The Role:

The priorities of the roll are ensuring that the 5* service is upheld at all times, delivering 5* customer service and food. 
The cafe must be clean, organised and of an inviting manner when customers enter. Our client believes that first impressions are the only impressions so ensuring the site is well organised at all times is imperative. 
All managers are well versed in being able to carry out all tasks, jobs and roles on site. A task cannot be delighted to either staff member if the one asking cannot do it themselves - they lead by example. 

Kitchen requirements 
The cafes each prepare all their own fresh fillings, salads, soups and a small variety of fresh prep. Any potential candidate must be open to learning how the kitchens operate and run. All training will be provided. 

Front of house / Counter 
Our client offers a wide selection of cakes, tray bakes and baking. It is required that you know all what they have to offer ensuing any dietary queries are answered in a timely manner ensuring the customer receives the correct information. Training will be provided. 

It is imperative that you have an eye for detail. Ensuring the front of house is organised. Ensuring all tables and chairs are clean and tidy at all times. Grab and go display fridges are full, giving maximum visibility to their products to be purchased easily and quickly. 
Any dirty tables are cleared in a timely manner allowing waiting customers to sit and order. 

Our client’s sites are visited frequently by Visit Scotland assessing each cafe thoroughly. We currently operate 5* sites and have done for in excess of 10 years.
