Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to provide expert HR guidance and support to managers and employees, ensuring alignment with business goals and best practices. This position will assist the HR Manager in delivering strategic HR initiatives, promoting organisational culture, performance, and continuous improvement in HR services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Culture and Performance: Promote company values and foster a positive work environment by leading employee engagement initiatives, offering coaching to managers, and supporting performance management, talent development, and employee relations.
  • Policies and Governance: Review and update HR policies to ensure compliance and fairness, provide proactive HR advice on employee relations, ensure adherence to legal and company policies, and manage HRIS in line with data protection laws.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Collaborate with hiring managers on recruitment strategies, oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, and enhance onboarding procedures to improve new hire retention.
  • Reward and Well-being: Manage company benefits programmes, develop employee well-being initiatives, and offer recommendations on compensation and benefits to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs, design development programmes aligned with business goals, and support employee career growth.
  • Health and Safety Coordination: Promote health and safety initiatives, conduct regular audits, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Quality and Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving HR service delivery and contribute to HR projects aligned with strategic objectives.
Person Specification

  • Strong HR knowledge, excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in HRIS and data management systems, with strong organisational skills.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience) and prior experience in a similar HR advisory role are essential.
