Are you an Engineering Manager from a manufacturing or industrial background looking for a position within a family-run timber manufacturer who are unmatched in both industry standards and reputation, boasting a reputation spanning all the way back to the 1860's.

Do you want to work in a role that offers the chance to run and mentor your own team of both mechanical and electrical engineers, giving you the chance grow and champion their careers, within an industry leading timber manufacturer.

On offer is a fantastic opportunity to become a key player in one of the UK's oldest family-owned timber mills, with an un-paralleled reputation, in a position that provides you with the responsibilities of leadership and mentorship, enabling you to grow and progress your engineering team.

In this role you will be responsible for maintaining and improving mechanical and electrical performance by reducing downtime levels through effective engineering dayshift cover and PPM routines, maintaining a high-performance engineering department, provide guidance and mentoring to all engineers, as well as fostering a collaborative environment between company workers.

This role would suit an Engineering Manager or similar, preferably from an industrial or manufacturing background, with either a degree or engineering related qualification, looking for a position whereby they can take on the responsibility of managing and running their own engineering team, both championing and progressing their engineering knowledge/ careers, in a well-established family-run timber manufacturer.
