Responsibilities for an Mechanic

• Perform comprehensive MOT tests on vehicles to ensure full compliance with legal standards.Utilise a range of hand and power tools to carry out necessary repairs and adjustments.
• Keep detailed records of inspections, repairs, and any identified issues during testing.
• Clearly communicate test results to customers and provide recommendations for repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment at all times.
• Assist with the lifting and handling of vehicle components during testing and repairs.
• Stay up to date with the latest MOT regulations and advancements in vehicle technology.

Requirements for Mechanic

• Full UK Driving licence
• Can do attitude
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician
