Description

  • Support the Head of Health, Safety and Quality and wider Senior Management Team in the delivery of the company strategy, whilst maintaining quality assurance excellence.
  • Contribute to a strong workplace culture, through the development of an engaging and ambitious quality assurance strategy.
  • Provide clear direction and co-ordination to a team of quality assurance professionals, that aligns with the company strategy and the quality assurance objectives.
  • Lead the maintenance and development of the quality management system, to meet BRCGS standards for storage and distribution, the organic food federations standards, and any other legislation or practice pertinent to our customers.
  • Oversee the internal audit programme, ensuring continuous improvement is achieved.
  • Act as key point of contact for our internal stakeholders, valued customers, external auditors and regulatory bodies
  • Drive ownership of quality assurance to all levels of the hierarchy
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to food safety, product legality and quality.

Profile

  • Minimum of 3 years experience working in a quality management position
  • FMCG Background
  • Demonstrated food safety background, preferably within the storage and distribution sector
  • BRCGS lead auditor qualification
  • HACCP - level 3 or above
  • ISO 9001 implementation and/or auditing qualification
