Ensuring that the quality assurance function is well organised and optimised; by contributing to maintaining a robust quality management system, co-coordinating both internal and external audit scheduling, application of document control practices, analysis of data and trends, and co-ordination of the quality assurance function.

This role is for a leading food manufacture and distributor based across Nantwich and Newcastle and Lyme - Based depending on personal preference.

Description

  • Contribute to a strong workplace culture, that holds quality assurance at the core.
  • Co-ordination of external and internal audit schedules, including supporting internal quality assurance specialists, external auditors and customers.
  • Co-ordination of quality management system aspects and ensuring the application of its requirements.
  • Application of document control practices in adherence with the quality management system.
  • Analysing quality assurance and food safety data to identify trends to be monitored and actioned.
  • Producing regular quality assurance trending and data reports in a digestible manner for colleagues at all levels of the hierarchy.
  • Supporting the communication of quality assurance topics and agendas via the designated channels and feedback loops.
  • Overseeing the Quality Assurance SharePoint facility, to ensure all colleagues have access to key elements of the quality management system, and that processes are streamlined.
  • Co-ordination of the quality assurance governance structure, ensuring that meeting attendees, minutes, agendas and actions are recorded and on track.
  • Supporting the wider quality assurance team and operational stakeholders on related projects and action close out.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to food safety, product legality and quality.

Profile

  • Experience in data analysis and trending.
  • 1 year experience in internal and/or external audit scheduling/planning.
  • Preferably experienced within the food distribution or manufacturing industry.
