Join our client's Operations team as a Despatch and Production Coordinator!About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the efficient and timely despatch and production of goods. This is a part time position, 2-3 days a week, with a little flexibility for the right person. It's a really exciting time to join the company who are rapidly expanding due to growth and success - This role is not just a job; it's a potential stepping stone to a more senior position within the organisation!What You'll Do:As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with the Customer Service and Sales teams, as well as production and warehouse operatives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning the despatch of sales orders to ensure timely and complete deliveries.
  • Sending picks to the warehouse picking team for efficient order fulfilment.
  • Entering delivery consignments into courier systems to ensure smooth logistics.
  • Coordinating with couriers to handle any special delivery requirements.
  • Posting and printing delivery notes for consignments.
  • Running production planning and raising assembly orders for production operatives.
  • Printing labels to support the production process.

During peak times or when covering for colleagues, you may also assist by:

  • Answering the main telephone line and directing calls appropriately.
  • Processing sales orders and sending email confirmations to customers.

What You'll Bring:We're looking for someone who can stay organised, prioritise tasks, and pay attention to detail, especially during busy periods. Here are the essential skills we're seeking:

  • A solid understanding of business operations, including pick, pack, and despatch.
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative spirit to work effectively with other teams.
  • A positive, can-do attitude that inspires those around you!
  • Basic computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A knack for working under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central or NAV ERP systems, and familiarity with entering delivery consignments into systems would be a bonus, but is not essential.
