- Operating, setting, and maintaining production machines that produce high-quality components (80% operating/production, 20% maintenance)
- Ensuring production quality by using statistical process control, following standard operating procedures, and carrying out risk assessments
- Achieving production targets efficiently and maintaining machine performance
- Carrying out preventative maintenance in line with schedules
- Responding quickly to mechanical breakdowns and ensuring swift resolution
- Using the Smart Factory data collection system to track machine performance and overall equipment effectiveness
- Contributing to safety, quality, and performance initiatives across the company
- Completed a time-served apprenticeship (HNC, HND, BTEC or equivalent)
- Experience in a mechanical engineering field
- Experience working with high-volume output machines
- Experience operating and/or maintaining power presses or automated assembly equipment
- An up-to-date power press safety qualification
- Basic knowledge of statistical process control
- Forklift truck licence or mobile equipment platform licence
- Basic understanding of IT systems
- Willingness to work overtime when required

- Day shift: 6am - 2pm Monday to Thursday, 6am - 11am Friday
- Noon shift: 2pm - 10pm Monday to Thursday, 11am - 4pm Friday
- Night shift: 10pm - 6am Monday to Thursday, 4pm - 9pm Friday
- Voluntary overtime is available and paid at a premium rate.
