Role Summary:

Join our team as a Technical Logistics Operative, where you'll handle various material handling and analytical tasks, contributing to the deployment of critical datacenter infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Material Handling:

  • Goods receipt, material put away, pick, pack, ship, and count.
  • Physical movement of materials around the site.
  • Ensure timely stock replenishment and maintain stock accuracy.
  • Communicate with colleagues for task clarification and guidance.

Receiving:

  • Interface with suppliers, carriers, and engineering teams.
  • Process incoming deliveries accurately and timely.
  • Manage goods receiving and unpacking areas.

Stores:

  • Ensure inventory is located and picked according to business processes.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and prevent material damage.
  • Perform periodic stock takes and update electronic stock systems.
  • Manage returned goods appropriately.

Deliveries:

  • Fulfill stock requests timely and accurately.
  • Record all outbound delivery activities.
  • Communicate progress and issues to peers and stakeholders.

Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge:

  • Experience in Goods-Inwards Receiving, Dispatch, Stores, or Warehouse environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent numeracy, organization, and time management skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Experience with electronic stock control systems.
  • Previous logistics experience in a technical environment (advantageous).
  • Understanding of IT hardware and components (advantageous).
  • Full driving license.
