Role: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Harlow
Salary: Up To £45,000
Shifts: Monday to Friday (7am till 3pm)

The Business:
Our client are a long standing family run business that have been steadily growing recently due to plenty of investment in the last 10 years. All is taking shape now at their flagship site in Harlow and they have needs to add Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Engineers due to forthcoming retirees and growth.
Supplying this product to a number of high profile businesses across the country, this business can boast an impressive order book that has resulted in heavy re-investment into the sites. Just this year they are implementing a brand new CMMS system as they seek to improve the reliability of their machines. This position is a fantastic role to join a growing family run business that invests into their people and machinery.
The Role:
The Role of Maintenance Engineer will include the following responsibilities:
- Reactive and Planned Maintenance to be completed on all of the highly automated state of the art production machinery
- If Electrical Bias you will be working with: Three Phase Motors, Sensors, Photocells, Switches, Relays, Contactors, Invertors
- Fault Finding on PLCs , Reading inputs and outputs as well as logging on with a laptop and fault finding through code (Training given for this!)
- If Mechanical Bias you will be working with: Bearings, Gearboxes, Shafts, Rollers, Belts, Pulleys, Chains, Hydraulics, Pneumatics
- Refurbishing components in the workshop and completing welding as and when required
- Working an on call rota 1 in every 4 weeks
The Candidate
The Right candidate for the role of Maintenance Engineer will have/be
- A recognised Engineering qualification
- Experience working on production machinery in an electrical or mechanical capacity
- Confident Fault Finding skills, able to rectify and get to the root cause of issues effectively and implementing a correct fix first time
- Experience with creating improvements to machines
- Be able to work well within a team or independently
