We are seeking a Welsh-Speaking Nursery Assistant to work in a Welsh-medium nursery in Newport. The role will consist of providing high-quality care and education for young children, as well as offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of children in a nurturing environment.

If you have the ability to communicate in Welsh, as well as experience in providing care to young children, or experience in a nursery/childcare environment, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities of Nursery Assistants (Welsh-Speaking):- Assist in creating a safe and stimulating environment for children- Support the Nursery team in delivering engaging activities and educational programmes- Supervise and interact with children during playtime and learning activities- Help maintain cleanliness and organisation within the Nursery setting- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues through Welsh- Contribute to the observation and assessment of children's progress

Experience required of Nursery Assistants (Welsh-Speaking):- Experience working with young children in any setting- Knowledge of Early Childhood Education principles is advantageous- Excellent communication skills (through Welsh language) to engage with children, parents, and staff members- Ability to demonstrate leadership skills when required- Proficiency in Welsh and English language for effective communication
