Your main role will be:

  • Setting / Operating CNC machines
  • Interpreting drawings
  • Deciding tooling selection and the method of manufacture
  • To ensure that the correct material is selected
  • Monitoring the quality of components using CMM inspection etc.. and complete quality documentation
  • To perform daily routine maintenance as required on equipment and report any issues
  • To correctly identify and mark all work order products.

You will need:

  • Experience in milling, turning, threading, drilling and other machining activities.
  • Experience with fine tolerance and small batch precision work
  • Experience of 4th axis
  • Experience in the use of a range of measuring equipment, micrometers, vernier gauges, pin gauges etc.
  • Experience of working in an ISO 9001 environment

And even more advantageous

  • Experience in Mastercam & OneCNC programming, Mazak and Mazatrol
  • A forklift
