Job Description:

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a dynamic and dedicated Welsh speaking Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Swansea, Neath and Port-Talbot. If you're looking to work in an inspiring educational environment and help students achieve their full potential, we'd love to hear from you!

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students in both small groups and 1:1 setting, helping them with their academic progress and personal development. You will play a key role in creating an engaging, inclusive, and positive learning atmosphere.

Contract/Position Details


  • Location - Various locations across Swansea
    Position - Welsh speaking Teaching Assistant
    Type of work - Teaching Assistant - day to day and long term cover in various schools
    Start date - ASAP
    Duration / Likely Duration - Day to day bookings, with the potential for extension depending on schools
    End date (if applicable) - N/A
    Contract type - Temporary
    Full time/part time - Part time and full time depending on schools needs
    Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate Ā£87.90 per day
    Hours - 8:45 am - 3:20pm (full day), half day (am or pm), individual lesson cover

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school or educational setting (though not essential).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • A genuine passion for education and supporting young learners.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students.
