The school are seeking an outstanding individual who is looking to progress within the Teaching Assistant role on a full-time basis working in the Nursery. The successful candidate will start as soon as possible and the position will end July 2025.

The successful candidate will:

Will have relevant experience of working with children (minimum of 6 months) in an Early Years setting
Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in schools
Will have relevant experience of working with ALN pupils and following Individual Development Plans
attend to pupils’ personal needs including toileting, hygiene, dressing and eating, as well as help with social, welfare and health matters.
Will ensure the health and safety of students who require intimate personal care
be able to work effectively as part of a team.

have high expectations both for children and themselves.
have excellent communication skills and be committed to building positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
support high quality teaching and learning.
enthuse, motivate and engage children in all areas of learning.
be willing to contribute to the broader life of the school community
The ability to communicate in Welsh to Level 2 or above is desirable but not essential.
