We are looking to appoint a Mechanical Fitter on a day shift - 7am - 3pm Monday to Friday

Your role will be to:
- participate in departmental and site safety initiatives and promote a safety first culture
- undertake all mechanical work as required.
- work closely and in collaboration with the Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Supervisor and the Mechanical Engineering Supervisor.
- liaise with the Shift Production Leader on production priorities.
- comply with all Standard Working Practices (SWP's) and permits to work where appropriate.
- monitor the Engineering Requests (ER's) and carry out appropriate tasks.
- carry out plant checks as defined.
- when necessary, work planned shutdowns and be prepared to attend the work site out of normal working hours to address issues of safety, security or production equipment breakdowns.
- comply with the company and engineering quality procedures.
- comply with the Company's Code of Conduct.
You will need:
- a Mechanical Trade Apprenticeship
- a Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering (or 5 years experience in mechanical engineering)
