Project Manager - Glamorgan - up to 40,000 + Benefits - Ref 1835

I am currently recruiting for a Project Manager to work for a cutting-edge technology company based in Glamorgan Salary up to 40,000 + Benefits.

The organisation has been in operation for many years and are worldwide leaders within the design, development, and manufacture of their highly intelligent products. As a business they turnover north of 85m, employ 500 people and are constantly evolving their legacy products as well as designing and developing new innovative products to bring to market.

In line with demand for their products and to support the business with their growth plans they have the need to appoint another Project Manager on a permanent basis.

In this role as a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple Electro-Mechanical R&D projects simultaneously through the new product development lifecycle via a gated process. This will be a front-end focused role where you will be required to manage the early stages of a project's lifecycle, ensuring feasibility, planning, and stakeholder alignment before full-scale manufacturing begins and this is specifically within Research and Development. Additionally, you will be responsible for engineering change control (ECC/ECN) and will be involved with supporting the regulatory teams as products need to comply to the necessary standards.

Ideal Requirements:

- Previous experience working as a Project Manager, Project Engineer or similar
- Understanding of Manufacturing process's (preferably Plastic Injection Moulding)
- Experience working to highly regulated standards

- Experience working at the front end of engineering, specifically regarding research and development, concept development and prototyping
