Join Our Team as a HGV Technician!

Are you a proactive and skilled HGV Technician? We are looking for someone like you to join our on-site workshop in Neath. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and modifying a fleet of vehicles and trailers, while also providing essential technical support from fault analysis to resolution.

We're seeking a candidate who can deliver high-quality technical work, while ensuring strict Health & Safety standards are followed. Your attention to detail and strong understanding of vehicles, trailers, and workshop equipment will be key to your success. Excellent organisational skills will also be essential for maintaining clear documentation, accurate records, and meeting deadlines.

HGV Technician Responsibilities:

  • Perform general maintenance and repair work on HGVs and trailers.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently.
  • Conduct in-depth engineering and mechanical work to a high standard.
  • Ensure all repairs comply with Health and Safety legislation and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and complete necessary paperwork promptly.

HGV Technician Requirements:

  • City & Guilds qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar role.
  • Preferably hold an HGV C+E licence (Class 1) and a current ADR (not essential).
  • Strong knowledge of vehicles, trailers, and workshop equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
