Location: Needham Market, Suffolk
Salary: 25,000 - 27,000 per year
We are seeking an enthusiastic person to join a team at a family-run business that plays a vital role in the food service distribution industry. As a Night Shift Operative help and ensure that the customers receive top service and quality products.
You will be part of a close-knit team dedicated to providing food for hundreds of customers such as schools, care homes, restaurants and many more. Your contributions will make a difference as you work alongside enthusiastic colleagues who take pride in their work!
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking and packing customer orders for dispatch
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Stock replenishment and management
- Manual handling of stock, including heavy lifting
- Ensuring stock is rotated effectively
- Maintaining general housekeeping in the warehouse
- Complying with company and legislative Health & Safety standards
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment
- Comfortable working in cold conditions, as freezer and chiller work is required
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Valid FLT license (experience is advantageous)
- Experience using warehouse management systems WMS (desirable)

The working hours for this role will be night shift, Sunday to Thursday.
Sunday - Midnight to 6am
Monday to Thursday - 9pm to 6am
