Justteachers is seeking a Drama Teacher, who is looking for a permanent role, in a Secondary school in the Nelson area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in April 2025, with shortlisting currently underway.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Planning and delivering engaging Drama lessons for KS3 and KS4
- Developing students confidence, creativity, and performance skills
- Preparing students for assessments, performances, and practical exams
- Encouraging participation in extracurricular drama activities and school productions
- Differentiating lessons to support students of all abilities
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Providing constructive feedback to help students progress
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the performing arts curriculum
- Maintaining up-to-date records of student progress and attainment
- Ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
- Relevant qualifications
- Proven experience of teaching Drama to KS3 & KS4 Student
- Strong knowledge of Drama curriculum
- Two education or school-based references
