Justteachers is seeking a Drama Teacher, who is looking for a permanent role, in a Secondary school in the Nelson area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in April 2025, with shortlisting currently underway.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

Planning and delivering engaging Drama lessons for KS3 and KS4
Developing students confidence, creativity, and performance skills
Preparing students for assessments, performances, and practical exams
Encouraging participation in extracurricular drama activities and school productions
Differentiating lessons to support students of all abilities
Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Providing constructive feedback to help students progress
Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the performing arts curriculum
Maintaining up-to-date records of student progress and attainment
Ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

Relevant qualifications
Proven experience of teaching Drama to KS3 & KS4 Student
Strong knowledge of Drama curriculum
Two education or school-based references
