A new role has now arisen for a Finance Manager to work closely with the site General Manager and wider management team to ensure their continued success and financial stability. The business is profitable and has a full order book for the next few years whilst also remaining committed to sustainability and using environmentally friendly materials. This will therefore be an excellent opportunity for someone to take part in their journey in an exciting sector. The key responsibilities will be:

• Production of monthly management accounts• Maintaining balance sheet, P&L, cashflows• Preparing the annual budgets and rolling forecasts• Monthly reporting to group parent company• Preparing reports for site management team• Reporting results and profitability• Preparing stat accounts and managing the audit• Driving cost reduction and efficiency improvement• Improving financial controls and processes

The ideal candidate for this role would have previous experience of month end processes and ideally managing a small finance department. As they are part of a larger group there will be reporting deadlines to adhere to along with a requirement to liaise with colleagues at other locations, this will include a dotted reporting line to a remotely based Group Finance Director. Applicants must have strong knowledge of Excel and accounting software, any exposure to inter-company trading and foreign currencies would also be beneficial. CIMA / ACCA or ACA qualified would be preferred but they are open to candidates part way through studies or QBE if they can demonstrate the right level of experience and technical ability.
