Job Overview:

The Primary School Administrator will play a crucial role in the smooth running of our school. This position involves a wide range of administrative duties, including supporting the senior leadership team, managing student records, and ensuring effective communication within the school community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Headteacher and senior leadership team.
  • Student Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and manage admissions.
  • Communication: Act as the first point of contact for parents, staff, and visitors, ensuring all inquiries are handled professionally and efficiently.
  • Office Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school office, including managing supplies and resources.
  • Data Management: Ensure the school's data systems are maintained accurately and securely.
  • Events Coordination: Assist in the planning and coordination of school events and meetings.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience in a school administrative role is not essential. However, strong customer service and administration experience are crucial.
  • Skills: Excellent organisational and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Attributes: A friendly and approachable demeanor, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to the values and ethos of our school.
  • Qualifications: Relevant administrative qualifications are desirable but not essential. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
