Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1/2 Teacher to join one of our primary schools based in Pendle. This is a full-year maternity cover position starting on 24th February 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to our Year 1/2 students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student development.
  • Participate in school events and activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
