Job Overview:

Here at Russell Taylor Group, we are currently looking to expand our Construction division. We are looking for both junior / senior recruitment consultants with experienced in the construction, civil and architectural sectors, across the UK.

In the Construction division, we work placing highly skilled professionals across multiple sectors such as housing and residential sectors, civil, highways and rail and architectural planning. There hasnt been a better time to join such a busy sector, with clients looking to hire top professionals to run their large-scale construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to understand their hiring needs.
  • Collaborate with clients to define job requirements, specifications, and key competencies for various roles.
  • Set foot on live construction sites, meet with decision makers and have direct access to invaluable information that can only be obtained onsite.

Candidate Sourcing and Screening:

  • Utilise various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events, to identify and attract top-tier construction professionals.
  • Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including interviews and skills evaluations, to ensure a high-quality talent pool.

Recruitment Process Management:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial client engagement to candidate onboarding.
  • Coordinate interviews, negotiate offers, and provide guidance to both clients and candidates throughout the hiring process.

Market Research:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and salary benchmarks within the sector.
  • Provide insights to clients and candidates regarding the competitive landscape and talent market.

Business Development:

  • Actively seek opportunities for business development and expansion within the industry.
  • Identify and pursue new client partnerships to increase market share.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships with clients and candidates.
  • Experience within a sales environment (retail, telesales, or fast paced working environment) coupled with a confident and professional telephone manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
  • Results-driven with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with relevant recruitment tools and technologies.
  • Experience as a Recruitment Consultant would be ideal, with a focus on Construction, but this can be taught if needed.
  • Due to our head office being located away from main train and bus routes, and the requirement to attend live construction sites across the North West area, a driving licence and a car is essential for this role.
