The Role
As a Teaching Assistant in this Croydon SEN school, you will:
Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with a variety of learning needs including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, differentiated lessons.
Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment tailored to the needs of individual pupils.
Support emotional regulation, social interaction, and behaviour management.
Collaborate with therapists, teachers, and parents to ensure consistent and effective support.
What We're Looking For
To be successful as a Teaching Assistant, you should:
Have experience working with children, ideally within an SEN or mainstream school setting.
Be patient, adaptable, and passionate about supporting students with additional needs.
Be available full-time and able to commit to a long-term role.
Hold a current enhanced DBS or be willing to apply for one through Reeson Education.
