Position: Clinical Pharmacist
Location: North Wales
Start Date: January 2025
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join a prestigious private hospital in North Wales. This is a ward-based role that will involve working across medical and surgical wards. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care, ensuring patient safety, and supporting the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients across medical and surgical wards
- Work closely with medical and nursing teams to review and optimize medication use
- Ensure that medicines are prescribed, dispensed, and administered safely
- Offer advice on drug interactions, side effects, and other pharmaceutical issues
- Conduct medication reviews and participate in ward rounds
- Keep up-to-date with current pharmacy practices and hospital procedures
Requirements:
- Qualified Clinical Pharmacist with experience in hospital settings
- Previous experience working on medical and surgical wards is essential
- Strong clinical knowledge and an ability to communicate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams
- Valid GPhC registration
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 30-minute break each day
- No weekend or on-call work
Pay:
- £27-37 per hour (via umbrella company)
