THE DETAILS:

Job role: Warehouse Shift Manager

Salary: £33,000-£36,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

Shift Pattern: Monday - Thursday 09:30am – 19:30pm & Friday 08:00am -  16:45pm

Location: Unit C, Larkfield Industrial Estate, New Hythe Lane, Aylesford ME20 6SW

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Ensure the site is managed safely, efficiently and is compliant with all legal requirements (Aligned to Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and Service Pledge)
  • Manage and motivate the team to meet customer timescales and improved productivity
  • Provide ‘hand over report’ to oncoming Operations Manager
  • Ensure inductions are carried out for all new staff
  • Provide training to all staff and contractors to ensure they are able to undertake their duties effectively, efficiently and safely
  • Define and agree goals (KPI’s), timelines and performance with your team
  • Review team performance against agreed goals (KPI’s) through regular 1:1’s, identifying training needs and required support
  • Liaise with New Business Partners to develop and integrate new business opportunities

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Experience of delivering expanding operational KPI’s.
  • A practical approach to prioritisation of daily tasks and keeping a cool head under pressure
  • A Common-sense approach to problem-solving
  • Computer literate and able to switch from computer to computer
  • Prioritise and managing tasks in a pressurised environment
