Teaching Assistant - Primary

  • Primary Schools - New Malden and Morden areas
  • Permanent and Supply / Long term temp available
  • Up to £120 per day, depending on experience

NextGen are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join Primary Schools in the New Malden and Morden areas.

You will be a key member of the schools supporting the classroom teachers to deliver excellent lessons, supporting with building positive relationships and the children are getting the support needed.

Day to day you will be:

  • Support with implementing appropriate activities to support children's learning and development
  • Both group and 1:1 support
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Communicating with parents
  • Promoting the general wellbeing of the children
  • Observe and assess the children progress and be able to report back to the classroom teacher and parents

We are looking for someone with:

  • Prior experience working with Primary age children in a education setting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A brilliant team player
  • A genuine passion for working with children
  • A positive, can-do attitude
