As an Electrical CAD Designer for a leading defence contractor, you'll have the opportunity to create and review electrical designs and drawings, playing a vital role in delivering on this exciting project.
This permanent role offers a competitive salary range of £36,000 - £46,000 plus benefits, with the flexibility to work from our South West London office or remotely.
• Develop electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical• Support the creation and management of Bills of Materials (BOM)•Collaborate with the Electrical Design Engineering team
Preferred Requirements:
- Produce electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical
- Support the creation and management of Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Provide electrical engineering support to the Electrical Design Engineering team
- Develop component libraries to support schematics
- Review electrical schematics in accordance with relevant standards and internal Computer Aided Design (CAD) processes
- Experience in an Electrical CAD position
- Understanding and working knowledge of electrical related Defence Standards, including Lloyds Register and other Military Standards (e.g. Def Stan 59-411)
- Proficient user of AutoCAD Electrical or similar
